ERIC HARTMARK

 

Eric Hartmark of Duluth, Minnesota, comes to Northern Lites Snowshoes with an impressive background as one of the premier snowshoe racers on the national stage.  In his first year as a sponsored Northern Lites athlete, Eric won the 2016 US Snowshoe Association National Championship in the 10K event in Ogden, Utah.   This was added to his other 2016 accomplishments that included winning the 2016 Minnesota State Championships and the 2016 Wisconsin State Championships (Course Record).

JENNIFER CHAUDOIR

 

Jennifer Chaudoir, of Green Bay, Wisconsin, began running in her early 30’s as a way to lower the stress of life. Within six months, she ran her first half marathon and took 3rd in her age group.  Soon she was routinely winning running awards and began a career in personal fitness as a trainer.  Running helped Jennifer overcome the trauma of two abusive marriages and the challenges of raising 5 children on her own.  The solace of running and her faith in God helped her focus on finding the strength to overcome the obstacles in her life.

JOSIAH MIDDAUGH

 

Josiah has been training, racing and winning on Northern Lites Snowshoes for over ten years. He has a love for the sport that shows every time he races. He is well respected by other athletes on and off the snow. He is a true believer in fun and fitness and has chosen a life of helping others achieve their fitness goals. In March 2012 Josiah completed his second degree in the field, a Masters in Human Movement from A.T. Still University.

TRAVIS MACY

A product of life in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, Travis Macy has seen success as a professional adventure racer and world-class trail runner, snowshoe racer, and mountain biker. A native of Evergreen, Colorado, he ran on the varsity track and cross country teams at CU-Boulder. Travis has adventure raced in New Zealand, Australia, Korea, Thailand, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, France, Scotland and Alaska.
