We stand behind our products, period. All warranty returns must be shipped directly to Northern Lites for repair or replacement. Please call 800-360-5483 or email support@Northernlites.com for a Return Authorization prior to shipping the product to us. We can get you highly discounted UPS rates.
If we find the snowshoes to be defective in materials or workmanship, we will reimburse any shipping costs and repair or replace your Northern Lites Snowshoes and ship them back to you at our expense. If they are not found to be defective in materials or workmanship (normal wear and tear or abuse is not generally warranted), then we will offer you the option of repairing your snowshoes at-cost or simply returning them to you at your expense. In cases of abnormal or clearly uneven wear and tear, it will usually be Northern Lites’ policy to resolve the issue in the customer’s favor. This Warranty applies to the original purchaser of Northern Lites Snowshoes.
- Snowshoes: free from defects in materials and workmanship forever. If you feel wear and tear happened too quickly or warranty should cover it, we will very likely trust you.
- Accessories: warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the original date of purchase.
Some examples of wear-and-tear that may not be covered by warranty are punctures in the decking that happened during use or a strap breaking after many years of use. If wear-and-tear happens to you, we can get your snowshoe back up and running typically for less than $35-$45 including shipping to and from our warehouse. We do not charge full price for parts during repairs or charge for labor - we charge our material cost only. We aren't trying to make money on repairs!
RETURNS - 90 Days No Questions Asked
If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with the snowshoes or other products received within 90 days of receiving them, you may return the product(s) to us for a full refund of the purchase price. Returns are subject to the following conditions:
- You are acting in good faith and not abusing the policy (for example, buying the snowshoes to use them during one trip and then retuning them with no intention to keep them in the first place).
- The customer must call us at 800-360-5483 or email us at email@example.com for a Return Authorization.
If the customer needs to return a damaged snowshoe for repair outside of a warranty claim, it must be shipped directly to Northern Lites for repair. We are happy to give a ballpark cost over the phone. Please call 800-360-5483 or email support@Northernlites.com for a Return Authorization prior to shipping the product to us. Upon receiving we will contact the customer with repair costs.
