Description
For technical snowshoeing and for extremely icy and rocky conditions, the Duraluminum cleats used in our standard snowshoes may not provide the needed traction.
In response to requests from our customers, we developed the Timberwolf with a highly aggressive, stainless steel cleat system.
The Timber Wolf comes pre-installed with aggressive crampons with Loctite pre-applied, and a bottle of Loctite is included for swapping crampons in the future!
We include a set of our standard lightweight Duraluminum cleats in the event you want to save weight on less challenging excursions.
Only a Philips screwdriver and wrench is needed to swap cleats.

FAQs
What's the difference between the Quicksilver 25 and 30, and the Elite or Backcountry snowshoe models?
The Quicksilver's aluminum frame is slightly heavier and not quite as durable as the Elite or Backcountry snowshoes (6000 series vs. 7075-T6 alloy). The only color option for the Quicksilver line is silver and tan.
What's the difference between the Quicksilver 25 and Quicksilver 30?
Size is the only difference. The Quicksilver 25 is 25 inches long, with a recommended flotation limit of 180lbs. The Quicksilver 30 is 5 inches longer at 30 inches long and a recommended flotation limit of 225lbs. If you're close to the weight limit and like to snowshoe in fresh snow or powder (or venture off trail) it's typically wise to size up your snowshoe vs. size down.
I'm a woman, which Quicksilver should I get?
It's all about your weight with gear on. If you're under 180 lbs with all of your gear, go with the Quicksilver. Or, if you are always sticking to maintained trails with packed powder, go with the Quicksilver 25 as it's a better dedicated trail snowshoe.
